"Hello my name is Adonis Valvis. I'm the owner and coach of Good Times Gymnastics located in Flushing, New York. Let's talk a little bit about the gymnastics and how the points are scored. Gymnastics are very interesting sport and the scores, they have a code of points that they use in gymnastics assign for it. It's to then starts with one of the highest numbers and as they move on in to their routines in the competition the points get deducted from each mistake that the gymnast does. It is very important that the student, the gymnast, salutes the judges before he starts the exercise and also at the same time it's very important to salute the judges when finishes the exercise. Code of points is A, B, C, D, E. A is the lower of the points and E would be the highest and this is how the score of points, the system works when they judge competition in gymnastics. The sport of gymnastics is a very old sport. It started back many years as a competition in Greece. 150 years ago where the first Olympics happened and since then it's still one of the most accomplishing sports. Gymnastics is a sport that requires strength, flexibility and discipline."
