"Hi! I'm Kirk Clow with Equity Real Estate here in Salt Lake City, Utah and I'm here to talk to you on how to make money in real estate. It's the million dollar question. That's what we're here for and that's what we're trying to do. I'll never forget one of the first real estate deals, you know, one of the first few that I'd done. I was talking with one of my leaders. He made the con, that desperate sellers or desperate salesman raise skinny kids and it was just something I always thought about that was really interesting. I realize that I need to have my life in order and well enough so that when someone calls me and says, Kirk, can you help me buy or sell a house? I really can look them in the eyes and help them buy or sell a house and so something I really emphasize is that to make money in this business, it's a service business, that you really need to be able to help somebody and that might take a year, that might take six months. 'Cos you gotta be in a situation on in a position that you could help them get the best out of their needs and get exactly what they need. Help them get exactly what they're looking for."
