"Hi, my name's Rich Richards and I'm the store manager of Innovative Car Audio here in Taylorsville, Utah. What I've got here is I've got three amplifiers that I would like to show you and tell you a little bit about the difference between them. The first amplifier here is actually a two channel amplifier and if you were going to build a system in your car, you would actually want to use two of these if you were going to run four speakers or buy a four channel amplifier instead of a two which is what this is. Hear in the middle we have a mono block amplifier. O.k., this is designed for base. O.k., you would not use this to run mids and highs. It's designed to run a sub woofer. And in here, we have a five channel amplifier. Now this amplifier is actually designed to run the whole audio system. It will actually run all four speakers and the sub woofer at the same time. Now one of the things that you want to look, when you're looking for an amplifier is you want to make sure that you get an amplifier that's going to be able to work with the sub woofers that you have. The critical issues are one, how much power does my sub woofer handle, and then the other is what impedance is my sub. And it's helpful to the sales person if you have that information so that they can tell you the proper amplifier that you need to use for your install."
