"My name is Mark and today I'm going to talk about what is a smartboard. A smartboard is a, basically a digital whiteboard in one sense that allows you to, they're usually wall mounted, very large devices that allow you to use a touchscreen to either manipulate, you can have a smartboard connected to a computer where you would have a very large Start menu that you would touch and operate just like a computer, just like a touchscreen monitor. Whiteboards are also usually have some utensils that can be used with them like digital paintbrushes or digital markers actually. Whiteboards are usually used in an environment where you would share data with a room of people instead of having everyone look at a projector or their own computer, it's a very large format monitor that's usually touchscreen but can also be operated by a keyboard and mouse depending on which type of device you have connected to it. And that's what a smartboard is."
