"Hello my name is Mark, and today I am going to talk about what is a virtual keyboard. A virtual keyboard is basically software, and sometimes some subsequent hardware. But software that allows you to use a keyboard with different devices like a touch screen, a monitor, or you can also use it with your mouse or a head mouse, or an actual keyboard. Some of the other functionalities of a virtual keyboard are for multi-languages, or different characters where you can switch back and forth from using your standard keyboard to the virtual keyboard if you need those special characters. Another reason for the virtual keyboard would be to limit access to the physical machine. Where you can actually remove the keyboard from the machine altogether, and use only a virtual keyboard so that you would have access when you would remote in, but not sitting at the physical machine. And that is a virtual keyboard."
