"Hello my name is Mark Daly, and I am going to explain what an AI is used for. AI is an acronym for artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence as the name implies is a process that in the computer science industry where computers may take action, make decisions based on environmental or other changes. An example of artificial intelligence on a really basic level would be a digital thermostat in your home that would sense the temperature and take action based on that. You know artificial intelligence, the human properties are so precise that they can be duplicated artificially, so a lot of the functions that humans would do can also be done by artificial intelligence. That is what artificial intelligence is used for."
