"We have been the first Cheer Extreme Gym in 1994, unofficially, but that's when the first competitive team was. So we had the benefit of starting when it wasn't popular at all. My sister, was, it was the one in question that did it and my mom started the first team that we had of 25 girls. And said, every mistake we made along the way, was replaceable the next year, and we learned from that and grew from that. The next year, when we had two teams making you know, more and more mistakes along the way, you just learn what works for you. In this day and age there are so many gyms, it's a saturated market, especially in the South. That, it's going to be really hard to open your own gym and be successful that way, without and have a lot of kids come in. To be a Cheerleading coach, isn't as you know, typical as you want it to be. I think that being the All Stars director is very difficult, it is often become now, you kind of have to work your way through the ranks and get in at the right time. Tumbling Instructors are wanted everywhere, and so that's a really good way to get into it. The USASF, which is the same company that puts on the World Cheerleading Competition in New Orleans and Florida, every April. They, you have to take a test and it's based on who ever your representative is in your region administrates in. It's just one on one, it's really stressful and they ask you all these questions. And they ask you, how would you teach a blank? It goes all the way from the lowest level one skill, all the way through level five, in every aspect. Tumbling, stunning, basket tosses, everything you ever need to know. And you have to say verbatim, exactly what the handbook says, for you to do. Whether every single gym makes everybody in their gym be certified, is questionable, are they're supposed? We all do so and hopefully, that is what happens, but."
