"My name is William Perkinson and I'm here to tell you how to move large heavy objects. If you are going to be moving a whole house or a lot of furniture or heavy objects you might want to invest in a back brace which is this. They are available in most of the larger hardware stores but if you are just moving the occasional box of holiday decorations or moving things around in the garage then there are a few things that we can tell you about with just body positioning, letting your leg muscles do the work, that type of thing. Alright, well number one this is our large heavy object. We want to stand with our feet about shoulder width apart. We are going to bend down to the box keeping our back straight so we are really bending our knees and our legs. We'll grab the box firmly and this one has handles. The one thing you want to remember even though it has handles never jerk it. You can jerk the handle right out and as you are jerking you could tear a muscle in your back, your leg, your arm whatever and always be smooth with your muscular motions. Anyway as we begin to stand keep your back straight and just let your leg muscles do all the work, safe and secure. If you are not picking it up yourself and you are going to use a dolly it's pretty simple. There is, one thing that you should know before you use your dolly is is the box evenly loaded, is there weight on one side or other because we could put it on the dolly this way to turn it back and lift it and if all the weight is in the front your box is going to topple right out so you want the most amount of weight in the back and let the dolly carry most of the load like such. Anyway I'm William Perkinson and that's how to lift a heavy object."
