"Today we're here to talk about how to clean an air filter. First and foremost, most light model air filters don't need cleaning. If they're dirty, they need replacing. There are several air cleaners on the market that can be cleaned with special hose and cleaners; those are very expensive and truthfully they're not needed on light model cars. Either much better to use an OE Manufacture or an OE Replacement Air Filter in order to keep your car running at peak efficiency. To look at the air filter, it's as simple as opening the air box; lift the top of the air box up and carefully remove the air cleaner. In this case, this air cleaner looks new; no cleaning is required and replacement is not necessary. Then you would simply reinstall the air filter assembly, snap the clips on the air box and at that point it should be done."
