How to Copy VCR to PC

"Hey, it's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert, here and I'm going to show you how to copy your VHS VCR tapes onto your personal computer. It's a pretty straightforward process. Linking things to copy or record, here's a rule to remember. Out to in, out to in. We want the video and audio out of this bad boy to go in to this bad boy. So how are we going to do it? It's simple. Let's take a look at the back. Here, we've got a super video connector, and it's by far the best way to go. You can use the RCA connection but, again, if quality's important, step up, use this, and use good cables, too. It's a little...a little tip for you. So we're going to plug that in here. We're going to plug in our stereo audio, red to red, white to white. And now, all we're going to do is plug our super video connector here into the side of the computer, and we're going to take this end here, which is going to give us our stereo audio and plug it in the front in the microphone input. And now you're connected VCR to PC. Open up Windows Movie Maker, hit record, push play on your VCR, and you're ready to import it. Begin editing and burning those home movies onto DVDs.
