"Hi, I'm Rick Tobey and I'm going to show you how to put new strings on an acoustic guitar. Now the first step would be to loosen the string; the old string. I like to use a string winder and you loosen the string and then when it's loose, you can get your metal clipper and you clip the string; cut it off and you take, just spur it out. Discard it. Take out the bridge pin; just right there, the bridge pin. Take this end off; put out with your tool if you need to. Then you get a new string; unwind the string; you put the string in the hole; you put the bridge pin end and it's a good idea to use a capo. And you take the capo and you hold the string nice and tight and you use the capo to hold the string in place. Then you take the string and you put it through the peg; the tuning peg and you launch relieving off slack so it wraps around the pin. And I like to take the string and bend it in towards the center of the guitar and wrap it around a few times to make a little, kind of a little loop, like a little spring; that helps to hold the spring in place while you wind it and you're going to wind it so that the string loops down towards the, towards the body of the guitar. And so, then you wind it on there and then you can use your string winder; this one always helps. Use your string winder and hold your guitar, the string in place and you wind it on to the peg and then when it becomes tight, make sure that the bridge pin stays in place. And then after it becomes tight, you can remove the capo and untighten the rest by hand and tune it to the proper pitch. And that's how you put new strings on an acoustic guitar."
