"English script letters are arguably unpopular and then again we have our teachers who say, they're very necessary. And so, it is a very difficult thing to try to teach to children. Script letters help us to understand that if a word is all connected and it's written in cursive then it's easy to read. Oftentimes, when people stay in the manuscript typewriting, they put their words together and it's hard to determine where one starts and one leaves off. So, in script letters one of the most important parts of that is to see that they connect with each other properly. Oftentimes, children want to look at a script letter and draw it instead of use the format that they're supposed to. In order to write script letters so that they're legible, you need to pay attention to your connection to the next letter. A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z. It's very important to make sure that you can tell a U from a W and that you connect them all and come down below the lines with the strokes that need to be below the line and above the line on the others."
