"Hi this is Jennica from Pet Planet in Riverton, Utah. We are going to be talking about what bird sleeps like a bat. Usually birds do not sleep like bats. They sleep in various different ways, some will actually turn their head and tuck it under their wing, or some will just kind of sleep standing up on a perch or they will cuddle up in a corner there is several different ways. There is one bird that has an exception to how others birds sleep, it is called the Hanging Parrot it actually sleeps almost just like a bat, they also call it the Bat Parrot. They actually they cannot take flight from hanging upside down but so they have to get up or drop to the ground and then they can take flight.
