"HI, this is Jennica from Pet Planet in Riverton, Utah. We're going to be talking about how to catch a bird. If a bird gets out of a cage and you have a hard time catching it, you can actually get nets. They are nets that can be this size, this is a little exaggerated for a small bird. But you can actually find nets at like a pet store or any kind of place like that sells nets. All you actually have to do, if a bird is flying towards you, you kind of throw the net in front of him, he'll fly in to it and then kind of hold him down. There are some types of birds that if they're a little bit more friendly towards you, you can actually just go and kind of put your finger up above his chest and he'll step right on to your finger and you can put him back in the cage. If they're not like that you are going to have to use a net or a towel or any thing that will be able to cover him so you can get him back in to the cage. There are other ways to catch a bird. On a last resort you can actually just leave the cage open and birds need to eat and drink every six hours, so if he's out long enough, he'll go searching for food and if you leave the cage open he'll go back in the cage.
