"O.k., I'm just going to quickly run you through how you'd set up to start designing your own digital magazine using Adobe Indesign. So let's go ahead and create a new document, I mean magazine can really be any size. But you know, I'm just going to keep it you know, letter size, the orientation, you know, very cool. You know, if you're adding columns or whatever, go ahead. I'm just going to click O.K., so that obviously, I need the pattern on one page. But you know, if you can go back you know, if you want a fifty page magazine. Let's say, you want fifty pages for your magazine, put, chuck that in there. Then you go to your pages, then obviously, you've got your tools over here, you've got your Framed Tool. You know, this is a tool that you'd use, throw your graphics in. You know, like, try and lay out your pages nicely and you know, say you got your heading for your page in that part. And then some you know, maybe some other little areas down here, you know, for photos maybe or other stories you got coming up, in the magazine. Say, you've got your main part here, you got your heading, whatever on the front page. And then each page might have your writing up the top there, maybe a graphic or a photo, alongside here. And maybe some advertisement on this side here, menus, plenty of stuff, you can do, you know. You know, once you've got it all, that's when you can start you know, putting in your content, any graphic, text, whatever it is. You know, if you want to draw shapes, you can, there's plenty, plenty of stuff. You know, over here you've got your, got your Tools like your color and your stroke and if you want to add in you know, colorful boxes, maybe like a block, plenty of stuff you can do. If you're playing around with it but you know, once you've got your fifty pages you know, done up. You can go to Text Tool you know, you want to type in or go to your writing, you know, lay it out. That's the cool thing with the rectangle tool in this, that's how you lay out your pages, basically for your magazine. So yeah, then when you're done, you've got to save, Save it As you know, your document, you know, you've got your presets. Then save it as your Indesign CS 4. And eventually, when you're all ready to go with it, you can go to Export and do it properly. And down here, probably PDF again, like I've said in a previous one, PDF's usually the best way to go, when you're doing your printing. Other than that, or where is it? PPS is the other one I'd use, so keep that in mind. So yeah, that's you know, how you go about starting your individual magazine in Indesign."
