"Okay, I'm going to show you how to make your own business cards in Photoshop. So, we go up to "New." We're going to change our paper to print, let's go U.S. Generally business cards go to millimeters. Generally you want, actually I'll go to, I'll go to inches. Alright, generally you want about 3.5 width by about 2 height and I'm just going to knock this up to about 7.5 now, an extra 2.25, just for the bleed, there's a lot of printers that will need a little bit of extra to cut off when they slice up all your cards. So we want to make sure it's 300dpi as well. We're printing, so there you got you know, your general shape of your card. Basically when I, you know, design a card, there's you know, hundreds of ways to go about doing it. Let's just say you wanted a real simple, you know, black and white card. I'm just going to the old text tool over here, it's just taking its time to load. Here we go. Make sure it's black, so, alright, so I'm going to type in the middle. Generally we'd want our business name up at the top. Bring it down, a little bit smaller. What you can do as well, when you're doing print work, you might want to drag a ruler across, you can snap it right dead center so you know what you're doing. Just pull it down, generally it will kind of click into place. It's around dead center. Alright so, let's go back to the text tool. Business name, I would say it's a little big, you want to drag that up here. Go to free transform, bring that a little bit smaller, apply that. Try to keep it nice and centered. Alright, underneath that let's bring the text size down a little bit more, maybe to about 18, your name, maybe a little bit smaller even, let's go 14, and let's unbold it, let's make it regular. Put that around there. Put your phone number, whatever it is, put your e-mail, and whatever else you need, put your address, all that kind of stuff. We want to keep it centered. This is just a real kind of quick run through of setting up a business card template for yourself. You know, obviously, you know, once you've got all this stuff you can move it around however you want. There's like, hundreds of ways of doing it, if you wanted to do it top corner, or you know, you want to do it more on the side, you know then you can move everything around, but basically you know, just play around, you know, if you want to put graphics into it, you can, add a few shapes, whatever, you know. There's many ways to do it, so, yeah, that's how you go about creating a business card in Photoshop."
