"Hey it's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here, talking about where to buy an iPod. You're considering buying one? Buying one as a Gift? Good for you. Well, the short answer is you can get them just about everywhere. Here are some places to seriously consider. If you live by an Apple store, walk right in, pick out your favorite iPod, if an iPod Nano, pick out your favorite color, walk out the door with it. Walmart, also a reseller. And believe it or not, you can save just a few pennies, I mean literally a few pennies if you have a Sam's Club membership. The thing about the iPods are it's a- like most Apple products they're pretty much a price control commodity, meaning that they set the suggested retail price, nobody really deviates from it, I don't think people are making a lot of profit on it, aside of Apple, as far as other retailers go. So if you see one online for significantly less than the retail price and it's not refurbished or used, I'd be very, very leery of it, unless it is a very well known store that you've done business with, because you might get a package that just has a rock in it, they're pretty much stable on the price. The truth is, you definitely want to check out the refurbished, the official Apple refurbished page because you can save up to 26 percent on one that has been fully tested, absolutely meets the same specs as the original new models and has all paperwork and new packaging that goes along with it. Outside of that, like I say, Best Buy is a great resource for it also. But, no matter where you get it, you're pretty much going to get the same price. Also if you're looking for a deal online, again, online, definitely can cut the overhead, you can save a few dollars. As I said, more than that, really beware. But check your favorite places like eBay. Some people buy in bulks, some people buy it for the corporation to give away as gifts and never do so, and some people are in distress. Used is always a good way to go if it's from a reputable source, Apple certified refurbished if you're looking to save a few dollars. And any major electronic retailer will gladly take your money and set you up with these awesome devices. I'm Rokosz your digital lifestyle expert saying, string you later."
