"Hey, it's Rokosz, your Digital Lifestyle Expert here, talking a little bit about selling your iPods. If you're not like me, you just when they upgrade for different generations they just hold on to them because you don't want to let gadgets go, mine, mine, no, maybe it's time to sell it off to somebody else and recoup a little bit of money because you're an early adopter and want to move on to the next unit, that's good for you. Where to do it? Well, some of your classic places still remain the same, Craigslist is always an option but, of course, the entire world's out there and laissez faire, let the buyer beware or, actually, in this case, let the seller beware that you actually get money for it is a good way to do it. Auction sites become a good place. Believe it or not, local groups, churches, schools is a good way to announce it, simply because it's quick and easy. They give you a few bucks, you hand them the thing. There's no mail, there's no did my PayPal clear, did that check approve, any of that nonsense. Talking to family and friends is the best way to do it. Believe it or not, the iPod has become so easy to operate that, well, they're actually having a good showing at the elderly market. So, if grandma has a few bucks kicking around and you want to get it from her and you want to unload your old iPod, that's a good idea too. And, of course, we can't forget the major auction sites, whether it be eBay, Yahoo or you name it. But, you want to make sure you wipe all the information off the iPod. That's extremely important, you don't want to give away, you know, or sell a hundred dollar iPod with thousands of dollars worth of music on it. No, no, no, that would not be good. So, you want to make sure that you go in there wipe up all of the - wipe out all of the information out of it there too, especially if it's a relatively newer one. The one right here, actually both of these bad boys here have contacts, business calendars, personal photographs, stuff you don't want to forget to do when you give it away. So have that iPod wiped, find a good reputable place to do it. Be kind, take a little time, clean it up, wipe it down with just a light, damp rage. Maybe you can sanitize it, you don't know where that thing has been. Well, maybe you do. Well those are just some good tips to get rid and sell it. Make sure you get a good price for it. Best way to use it, the best way to do that if it's an older model, you're probably anywhere from 50 to 75% of the new cost. Anything below that, you're into 20 to 30%. But hey, it's America, get what you can for it, huh. It's a way to fund the newest, latest adopters, right? Like me ROKOSZ "Your Digital Lifestyle Expert," saying, stream you later."
