Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Push up (or down) on any of your guitar strings: Usually this will be with the middle or ring finger. You will stay on the same fret but push up.

  2. Step 2

Pluck the string that you are bending: Now you have plucked the string to make it ring out a higher note than if the string were not bent. Quickly proceed to step 3.

  3. Step 3

Let the tension of the string down: Remember to keep your finger pressed on the string against the fretboard. You should hear a weeping down bend sound. It should sound exactly the opposite of a regular bend.

  4. Step 4

Try it again: Do a few trials until you get the hang of it. It is basically a reverse bend. You wait to pluck the string after the string is bent, then let the note bend down.
