"The job responsibilities of a facilities manager varies from company to company and industry to industry. Generally though, the responsibilities of a facilities manager includes effectively managing and operating facilities to promote employee productivity, comfort and safe to be well meeting budget goals. It is also their responsibility to preserve corporate assets and to maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. In addition to maintaining the existing facilities, facilities managers typically also get involved in reconstruction and in evaluation of, or renewal of leases."
