Video Transcript

"Hi this is Athena Reich and I'm an actress, singer songwriter and performing arts coach here in New York City. To make a career in movies there is basically numerous routes you can go. First of all you definitely need to be taking an acting and TV class, numerous classes, try numerous different teachers. One of the best teachers in LA and New York is Larry Moss. He actually teaches Leonardo Dicaprio, numerous other celebrities and he is very expensive but you can even audit one of his classes for $100 for one day, that's about eight hours and it's worth it. So definitely take a class. You need to get professional head shots. You could start out doing extra work, contact Central Casting, google that, and extra work means you are in the background and it pays you money but other than that check backstage, check all, go right to the networks like MTV. Look for places that are casting and submit your head shots and resume."
