Financial Institutions like ETRADE have their own Mobile software application for Stock Trading using a Blackberry smartphone or iPhone. To Download the application, Navigate to the ETRADE Mobile website from the Blackberry phone. Use the link from the Resources section. Download the application using "Download Now" link. In case of no Data Plan subscription, Wi-Fi functionality can be used. Click on the "Go Now" link on the main page to Log On to the ETRADE Mobile website using Wi-Fi.

Once downloaded and installed, the ETRADE Mobile application can be used to buy, sell, place market, limit, and advanced orders on stocks. The main menu shows the links to various functions to Log On to account, Get Stock Quotes, News, Market Summary, etc.

To buy or sell stocks, log on to the account using "Log On" link and select the "Trading" link. The page will display the Net account value and the stock purchasing power. Select the "Buy" option to buy stocks and then select Order Type, Number of shares, Stock Symbol and Price type (Market, Limit, Stop, Stop Limit, Trailing Stop). Once the desired options are selected, click on the Continue button. The next page will show the buying summary and confirmation to buy.
