"Hi I'm Kelli, I'm an aesthetician and makeup artist at Ulta Salon and Cosmetics, and I'm going to give you some tips on how you can naturally lighten your complexion. Vitamin C, if you look for anything with vitamin C in it. There is a lot of natural products on the market today that contain vitamin C. Vitamin C is a really great ingredient to help to lighten discolorations or help with environmentally stressed skin, which is skin thats either discolored from the sun or just from different environmental aggressors. So vitamin C is a really great product for that. There is a lot of hydroquinone free products on the market today. This is a lightening gel, its a holistic lightening gel and this contains azelaic acid and licorice root which are natural botanicals that will actually lighten the skin. So those are some ingredients that you can use to help to lighten either discolorations or hyper pigmentation. Something else that you can do to help to even out your skin tone is just eat very healthy foods eat a lot of fruits, eat a lot of vegetables, a lot of whole grain, and drink a lot of water. So those are some tips you can use to naturally lighten your complexion."
