A couple things that you can do to help to tone down a ruddy complexion, if you suffer from rosacea, which is one of the main causes of a ruddy complexion, I definitely would recommend seeing your dermatologist and getting on some prescription medications that can help to tone down the rosacea. Other things that you can do is avoid spicy food and wine or alcohol, those are things that can really flare up a ruddy complexion as well. If you do suffer from a lot of sensitivity and redness, definitely get some calming products such as - this is a redness relief gel, it's very calming, very soothing. It's aloe based. You can also see it has a little bit of a green tint to it, green helps to neutralize the redness, so it's going to help to calm and soothe but it's also going to help to neutralize a lot of the redness. Another thing that you can do if you suffer from a ruddy complexion is to use a green based foundation primer underneath your makeup, and this will just to help neutralize a lot of the redness so you don't have to work so hard with your foundation to get coverage.
