"Attention all John Fogerty fans you know Credence Clearwater Revival this is a really cool lick based on the key of G major pentatonic scale. Lets check it out. Two, three, four. Ok lets break this next lick down. It's in the key of G major using G major pentatonic scale. So what we are going to do is we are going to start with our first finger on the tenth fret on the B string. And we are going to hammer on with our third finger to the twelfth fret that's a B note so it's from A to B. And then what we are going to do is we have our first finger right across the tenth fret so on the high E we are going to hit this D note. We are going to repeat that. And then what we are going to do is we are going to pull off in the twelfth to the tenth fret, third finger to the first finger and hit that G note on the twelfth fret. Then we move to the next position of the pentatonic scale and we hammer on with our first finger to our third finger and fifth to seventh fret. And then the same thing again on the A string. And we hit that note twice on the fifth fret. And we do the same thing again on the D string. And then what we do is we slide from the seventh fret to the ninth fret and that's a B note. First finger G string seventh fret, ninth fret G string, third finger then we hit that G right there, we actually have a G cord there. Ok so let me play it slowly. Two, three, four. There you have it."
