"Hi, I'm Casey Atkinson with Willie Driving School, here in Logan, Utah. I'm going to talk to you a little bit about how to study for the learner permit test. Now, if you have a book for your state, your driver handbook, make sure you read through this, all of the answers come through this book. Now, there are certain things you mainly want to study, for example, how to deal with bikers on the road, how much room should you give them when you pass them, same thing for pedestrians. They'll also ask you about rules of the state, who needs to have a license in your state. On the test, they'll also cover traffic signs. They'll ask you, what's a stop sign, what's a yield sign, what do you do if the lights yellow, things like that. So, they'll ask you basically about all the little safe, I mean, how to be a safe driver on the road. They'll also ask you about parking requirements, where you can park, I mean what does a red curb mean, what does a blue curb mean, what do certain traffic signs mean, I mean, what do the green signs mean, what do yellow signs typically mean. They'll also want to know, they'll put you in certain situations, like at a rail road crossing. What should you do at a rail road crossing? Should you stop, should you slow down, or should you just go right through? Things like that. So, there's a lot of things covered, but all those answers, once again, are in this book, so make sure you read through this book, study it, and have people ask you questions. There's usually questions in the back of the book, sample questions of the test. Fill out those, do your best, and then go take the test."
