How to Build a Guinea Pig Cage

"Hi! This is Ashlee with Pet Planet in Riverton, Utah. Today, I'm here to show you how you can make a guinea pig cage. One of the ways you can build a guinea pig cage is using chicken wire and wood. You want to make sure that the bottom is a plastic type bottom, that way the urine will not soak up in it and it's easier to clean. One other way that will just be a lot easier for you is just going out and buying a cage just like this. You want to just make sure that it's, guinea pig's safe as well as you want to get the right bedding down which make sure the bedding does not have any oils in it because guinea pigs are sensitive to the oils in the beddings. One thing you can do in during the process in making your guinea pig cages to make sure that they have all the toys they need. One good thing to have is something that they can trim their teeth on 'cos if you don't trim their teeth and they can, it can cause them complications later on. As well as making sure that they're just happy with the food they got and make sure there's a lot of toys for them to play in. Sometimes you can put a wills in here, some dew, like the wills and don't, it's hard to tell but you will find out once you get there with your guinea pig.
