One of the basic cages that you can use is a ten gallon cage with a top. You want to make sure that that top will lock or it's heavier than the hamster because the hamster will try and find ways to get out. Also, you want to make sure that you get the proper bottle for your hamster care. Make sure it hangs over the side, if you're using a ten gallon. Bedding is one of the most important things to pick. You want to make sure that it doesn't have a lot of oils in it. One thing you want to do is make sure that they have enough toys for them to keep them entertained and also, you want to give them just a lot of love and attention, and that will make sure that your hamster is happy in the long run.
