"Hi this is Ashlee from Pet Planet in Riverton, Utah. Today I am here to tell you about sugar glider's diets. One thing is sugar gliders are omnivores so you want to, they do have a big variety of what they can eat. Also you want to give them about forty percent vegetables and about fifty percent protein. One good way of giving them the protein is you can actually go to your local pet store and pick up something that they call monkey biscuits. What they are is they are big chunks of protein that you can feed either your birds or your reptiles or even your sugar gliders. You wet them and then you mush them and it just creates a good amount of protein for your sugar gliders. As well as you want to feed them the crickets. Once again I do prefer crickets over meal worms because they do have a lower fat, a higher in protein and a better calorie for them. So that actually keeps your sugar glider happy and healthy. You do want to switch their diets up because they do get bored with their diets easily so make sure that you give them a great variety and try new things with them. If you have any further questions about this you can contact us at petplanetriverton@gmail.com. And we will be happy to answer any of your questions."
