"Hi I'm Tim Gipson, I'm going to talk to you about how to repair a leaking hose nozzle. Now this is a typical hose nozzle or spray nozzle that you will find. Now the way these are constructed these days, if you have any leaking up in this area or through the back. The way these are put together there is really now way to change out any of these components. So unfortunately, if it is leaking from the end here from the control nozzle right here, you are essentially going to have to just get a new nozzle. However, when your hose is attached, if it is leaking between the nozzle and your hose, then all you may need to do is just change out this little rubber gasket. And these little rubber gaskets they are available at any hardware store or home improvement store, and it's if it is missing or if it is cracked or dried out then all you need to do is just take it, get a new one, and then you just put it down inside the opening of your hose nozzle, and screw it back on. Now if the end of your hose if you have still got some leaking, it could be in the hose attachment as it goes into the hose, as that has a tendency to deteriorate. So in this one we have actually cut the hose, put a new brass end into it, and it is secured with a pipe clamp. And the electrical tape covering it is just to keep you from catching any edges on the pipe clamp itself. So with those couple of repairs you can get your nozzle, so you make sure the water is coming out the end and not all over you. So I am Tim Gipson, and that is how to stop a hose nozzle from leaking."
