"I'm William Perkinson and I'm here to tell you how to move furniture. We're going to move this smaller bookcase today. Number one thing you'll realize is that it does need to be emptied. If it was a small chest or another piece of furniture we would take the drawers out. But what we'll do, in a minute, we'll take all the books out, we'll take the stuff off the top, and we'll be ready to move. All right, now that we've gotten the books and the decorative items off, it's time to move it. Now we don't want to damage it in transport, so we want to make sure we have a packing blanket. If you don't have one that's specifically designed for this, you can use a large beach towel or an old bed comforter. We've got our dolly. Wanna move it in. Now, this dolly has a large base on it. We want to make sure that both feet are securely on the base, and that it'll lift evenly, 'cause if we get one foot sliding off the base we're probably going to drop and damage the piece of furniture. We're on. Check the front and the back. It's ready to lift. I'm going to brace the dolly, pick up on this side of the furniture. The dolly's doing all the work now. And we're ready to move. I'm William Perkinson and that's how to move furniture."
