"I think mirrors are great, especially in small spaces. Mirrors allow you to truly open up a room, and if you are working with a small space, and you can't knock out a wall per se, but you really want to make it look bigger. So you can incorporate a mirror in that space. Typically it adds twice the space just by adding a mirror on a wall, than a room by a picture, or painting a certain color, etc. Especially if you have a room that has a window in it, and you are able to reflect the light with the mirror. Another thing that I will say about mirrors is a cool project that I did recently was, we took several mirrors that had different frames, different old mirrors, new mirrors, several different textures of the frames around the mirrors, and we created a collage of ee mirrors similar to some other collages that I have created. You can use mirrors with accents, often times they are used a a focal point. So if it is a focal point on a wall it would probably be the only mirror within eyes view. So if you then decide to add a mirror in on a focal point in a dining room, there should not be any other mirrors in that space. Mirrors as far as functionality in certain spaces a lot of people do like to have them at the entrance to something that they use quite often, as far as somewhere where they hang their keys or their coats when they leave. Something that is very functional, but also very tasteful, it could be moder or traditional."
