"Hi, my name is Miss Nancy, and I'm an elementary school teacher here in Tampa, Florida and the mother of three. So today, I'm going to teach you how to make a Valentine's day card. Now, there are a bunch of ways to do it. The girls are working on their ways, and we'll look at those in just a second. But the first thing I want you to have definitely is a piece of paper -- a nice, big piece of construction paper. It's Valentine's day, so probably pink or white or red are the colors you're going to want to stick with. You're also going to need a scissors, and then decorations, whether it's markers and crayons or glue and gemstones -- whatever decorations you want. The first thing we're going to do is take this piece of paper and fold it in half like a book so that it'll open this way. Now, I want you to draw on it. Draw almost like a triangle -- a circle that goes down to a point. Now, just take your scissors and, again, remember if there are kids, have them use the safety scissors. This one. Just like that one. And we're going to cut up and around, and then down into that point. Well, first, you make this. That way, we can write "Happy Valentine's Day," and when they open it up, it's a heart. You can decorate the heart by writing "Happy Valentine's Day" on the outside and putting something inside or you can get a little more creative like Cindy did over here. Cindy, show us your Valentine's day card. She took a heart just like the one we just made and glued it inside. And by cutting -- by folding it like we did originally to make the thing, and then cutting the two edges and then sticking the heart on the part that cut out. It's a pop-up card, and it pops up. Good job. The most important card in any Valentine's day card is the decorations and the love that goes into it."
