How to Get Rid of Ants in the Grass

"Hi friends, I'm Mark Govan with ABC Pest Control in Largo, Florida. Getting rid of ants in grass, there's a fairly simple way to do it down here, and that's to get a good pest control company to come on out, spray the lawn with a good insecticide, and that will help to get the ants out of your lawn. Now, if you want to do it yourself, well, there's a couple things that you can try, as well. We've got a product here called Wisdom. Wisdom EZ is a biphenthren based product. That's the active ingredient in the product. And you can use a little hand held spreader around the yard. It's a little granule product, you put in on around the yard. And the ants will come in contact with it, they'll forage for it, and they'll actually get the product, carry it back to the nest, and there goes the rest of the ants. Another way a homeowner can do it is buying a liquid product, such as TallStar. You mix that with water. You can pump it up in a little back-pack sprayer, and you spray that on the lawn as well, and that will help get rid of ants in your yard. Both of these are very easy ways that you can use as a homeowner to get rid of it, or as I always state, maybe professional service may be the way for you to go.
