"So, a greaser. We want to start looking at the 1950s. Obviously, the most important part for a greaser look is the hair. A greaser is known to be very very well groomed and put together, so we've got the slipped back hair and then we're talking about here, motorcycle jacket, white T-shirt, blue denim jeans, you know, with the cuff rolled up. And again, the cuff is very important, it's very meticulously done, everything's very put together. And the greaser sort of comes from, you know, a reaction to like a London Teddy Boy was a phrase that was thrown around in London a lot and it was these well-groomed sort of people which was a reaction to the rock and roll scene that was going on. So, it was sort of Teddy Boys first that the rockers and Teddy Boy was like, well, we're going to, you know, kind of do everything up tight and present ourselves such, 'cos you're , you're aesthetic, the rockers were very like a kind of gangly and roughed up, and Teddy Boys were more about attitude and, you know, style and the slipped back hair. So, then obviously we now look at brought into the United States, we call them greasers. So, greaser, if you want to achieve the greaser look, it's actually very simple to do. Get a great pair of jeans, blue jeans, Levi's has got some cuts that they haven't changed since their inception, so it'd be a great place to start. Roll your cuffs up, white socks underneath, some black Penny Loafers shoes or black proper men's shoes, white T-shirt or maybe a bomber jackets, sort of ala James Dean or motorcycle jacket, slipped back hair, comb in the pocket. Done."
