"Alright so a personal shopper. A personal shopper the short definition is pretty much exactly what you might think it is. It's somebody who shops for another person. Now a lot of times what that can mean is there's initial consultation with somebody because that person is too busy to shop for themselves. So they send, they , there's a consultation and then they decide what, what the personal shopper is going out and shopping for and then the personal shopper will bring it back, try a bunch of things on, if it doesn't work those things go back and things can come back in and it's a whole process. And ideally there's a relationship between the shopper and the person so that the shopper understands the esthetic's of the person they are shopping for so everything that they bring in is going to work. Now the difficulty with a personal shopper is that there are so many different types of people and so many different types of styles you have to put your own personal style aside if you will and really understand what the opposite, the person that you are shopping for really likes. And what looks best on them and that's when you sort of get into the suggestions that you make, what would flatter the person etc, etc. So a lot, you'll get a lot of different body types in that kind of field which can be very difficult but and challenging but ideally what your job is as a personal shopper is to make somebody who's either A, uncomfortable with shopping themselves or B, to busy to do it. Your idea, the idea behind your job as a personal shopper is to make that person feel comfortable possibly even trying something that they might not ordinarily want to try on but you've made them feel comfortable enough that they, they are sort of surprised and pleased with the outcome."
