"Let's talk about a fashion buyer. Fashion buyer's actually a really exciting job because you in essence, are predicting the trends of the next season. And you also have a say in what's going to be in the stores. Now you can be buying for a department store, which would be buying large mass quantities of stock, in particular designers or whatever, and bring them in. Or you could be doing something like a small boutique, it could be your own boutique for that matter. Where the fashion buyer's actually the owner of the boutique. And in that sense, you're probably more adapt to picking key pieces from smaller labels and bringing them in. And therefore to finding the look of your over all store, and then bringing the kind of consumer that is attracted to that aesthetic. Now what a fashion buyer will do typically, they go to all the fashion shows every season, the spring, summer, the fall, winter. Then they have you know, sub seasons, pre-fall and what not. And they see all the collections as they come on the run way, from all the designers. And then they'll have a market week that follows fashion week and they'll actually go and re-see a lot of these same pieces that they saw on the run way. And have meetings with the PR and the showroom people. And that's where the sell from the PR and the showroom people sort of, comes in. And they can actually get a verbal interaction with the PR person so that it can either confirm or bring somebody's interest level on a particular product, even higher. And based on their meetings, they'll decide how much and which kind of designers we'll go and bring in. To again, their boutique or their large department store. And they'll buy it and they'll go on the floors for the next season and then the retail process begins."
