"Hello this is Oscar Moreno with Moreno Custom Home Visions, and today we're going to teach you guys how to replace a doorknob. Well simply the tools that you're going to need are just a plain old regular phillips screwdriver. Now one of the things we're going to do with this doorknob first is to remove the two screws that are actually holding both of the knobs together. Which are located on the inside of the door, side by side, right behind the knob itself. Once we take those two screws out, we can remove the whole assembly on each side. Then we need to take out the two screws that are actually holding the pin in place. These guys are real short, three quarters of an inch, they come right out. After that you can open your new package, install your new pin first, tighten those guys up by hand. Doesn't need to be super tight. Then second you're going to grab your new housing, your new door knob housing, install them on each side. Make sure that they screws are facing the inside of the door. Where every you're going to be securing. So the inside of the door's screws there, then we'll attach the door, insert our screws, re-tighten those up nice and tight, not too tight because then they will be very difficult to turn this knob. So you'll know when you have it right, when it's real simple to open and close and these guys aren't super loose. So once you've got those two screws in place, you're basically done. And that's how you install a doorknob."
