"Hey my name is Chelsea Bagozzi with suburbanheresy.com and I wanted to talk a little bit today about beauty and makeup tips and I also wanted to talk about makeup on mature women. It gets a little tough, fighting makeup as you age and it is really important you are wearing the things that will compliment your skin and not bring out imperfections as we get older or skin starts to age and we get wrinkles and texture and it is really important to make sure that you are wearing colors and different makeup products that are going to enhance your beauty and not bring out the texture in your skin so when you wear foundation try to lean away from the powders and stick with the creams or a liquid because it is going to look more natural and powders are going to settle in the fine lines and make you look older and age your skin. Also you are going to want to stay away from shimmery eye shadows. I know lots of young women, young girls wear a lot of shimmer but wearing shimmer isn't going to make you look younger it is actually going to age you because the shimmer is going to settle in those fine lines and it is really going to bring out wrinkles and make you look a lot older than you are. So if you want to look younger, keep it simple, less is more and make sure that you are wearing beautiful matte colors and a little shimmer is o'kay. You just want to stay away from the really frosty colors so you know, liquids and creams for a foundation, cream blushes are great and just stay away from those frosty eye shadows."
