Hi, I'm Hazely Lopez, director of Hazely Academy of Refinement and Modeling and I'm here to talk to you about how to write an informal business letter. You want to go ahead and start by using a writing that is brief rather than casual. Go ahead and be brief, straight forward and logical. Use the regular rules like formatting rules and spelling check and of course, your standard grammar. On the top of your page, you want to start with the date, the address, then a greeting, like for example, Dear, Dear John, instead of a To Whom It May Concern, which is used in a more formal letter. When you're actually getting down to the bottom, you may go ahead and say a ending greeting with a Best regards, instead of a Thank you, or a Sincerely. The letter may be informal, but you're still looking to do a professional business letter.
