Hi, I'm Hazely Lopez, director of Hazely Academy of Refinement and Modeling and I'm here to talk to you about how to survive dinner with your boss. First thing first, don't be nervous. On the contrary, get an optimistic and happy thought about it. After all, not everyone gets invited to go out in a dinner with a boss. Always be yourself. Be yourself mannered, make sure that you're just being who you are and just talk first about thing that your both familiar with. Talk about work and if things go good, then you can go ahead and talk about other things that you have in common such as movies or books or any other activities. Sports are usually a good one to talk about as well. If you feel that you are being a little bit rushed, go ahead and prepare a pre-exit strategy to get out. You may want to say that you have a babysitter waiting for you or something real. Don't feel pressure in lying, just go ahead and say something realistic that will show that you're still here to talk about everything, but you have to get out at a certain time. Offer a compliment. Offering a compliment is usually every time very good and at the same time, you want to make sure that you're being polite and always full of respect. After all, don't forget, he is your boss. End your dinner with a very thankful and appreciation tone. You want to make sure that you let him know how great it was to know him in a different level besides the office.
