"Here are the three secrets to success in writing a college paper. I'm assuming you know about grammar and punctuation and paragraphs and all that but 1) read the assignment carefully so you know you are writing the right thing. I've seen a lot of papers that come in and someone has written the wrong paper for this assignment so make sure you are writing the right paper. 2) Find something in the assignment that you are interested in. You may have to stretch it a little bit and that's probably going to be o'kay if you are in doubt check with the professor and check with the teacher but if you are interested in it you're going to do a better job and that's what we are all aiming for here. 3) Do more research than you think you have to. You are going to end up finding all sorts of stuff that is kind of on the edge and it may wind up tying in and if you don't use all of your research that is a lot better than needing research that you haven't done. Keep track of your resources, don't plagiarize, and you should be golden."
