"Hi I'm Kim with Simply Beautiful in Austin, Texas. We are going to talk about how to pick the right color eye makeup to accentuate your eye color. There is no real right and wrongs in this. You can experiment and I'm going to say it one more time. Makeup washes off. So sit down some time and just play around with it. See what works for you. Purples work with blue eyes. Purples work with brown eyes. There is no right and wrong. Golds work with blue eyes and brown eyes. Green eyes work great with taupes and lavenders. Just see what makes your eyes pop. Alena has beautiful blue eyes and we are going to just demonstrate how gold works on blue eyes. For some reason a gold color such as this really brings out the blue, let me do this eye Alena, close and we are just going to take a little yellow gold and put it on her lid. This is going to be a good technique for just about anybody as far as how to put makeup on as well. Then we are going to take a smaller brush and we'll experiment with a little deep purple with the yellow so we are going to just use it as liner on a small brush. We are just using a really deep plum color and blending up. Now I'm going to use the same fluffy brush and a little bit of a plummer color in the crease. So I'm using plums and goldens and I'm using these colors because I want you to see that it works for browns, blue and green eyes. Try it. Open. See really really quickly, we've just done three colors of eye shadow, one on the whole lid, one in the crease and one along the lash line and we are just going to get a real pop of color but my point is what color to choose for your eye color but my point really wants to say to you to experiment, experiment. Look in the mirror, try different colors, put them on, there is no right and wrong."
