"Hi, my name's Veronica Baragas with My Wiggles and Giggles.com, and I'd like to share with you a little bit about nanny placement services. Well, these are some great, great services out there. They do a lot of the leg work for you. A lot of the times you can call up a nanny service, and if you just kind of tell 'em what it is that you're looking for, usually they have probably like a checklist of what hours you're looking for, how much you're looking to pay. Are you going to do live-in, part time, live-out, full time? I mean, there's just a wide range of things that, a lot of times if you don't know what to do, they're going to ask you all the questions needed. And they'll go to the extent of, you know, finding you a nanny. Maybe they have a list of nannies already that they've gone through background checks. They've checked their references. A lot of the times nanny services make sure that they have at least two years of experience. And they have different levels on nannies. Some's with education, some's that are just starting out, so it just depends on what it is that you're looking for. And a nanny service, like I said, cuts out all the leg work, and they can find those perspective ones for, you know, those nannies that maybe kind of fit in your criteria. And they can do everything up until the point where you meet them and do that initial, you know, interview to see if the chemistry's there. If it's going to work out or not. But, you can find a lot of nanny services in your phone book, or you can probably do a general search on the internet, depending on, you know, what area you're in, but I really, really recommend that if you have a little bit money to spend to look for a nanny service that it would be a great, great opportunity for you to kind of learn a little bit more about how to go about looking for a nanny, and having the assurance that there's somebody out there that is already doing all the background checks for you if you don't know how to do it. So, maybe if you're just starting out looking for a nanny, a nanny placement is probably the way to go. And then, if you're successful enough to find a nanny long term, that would be great. And if not, then, you know, definitely they've given you pretty much an idea of...of how the nanny process goes."
