"Hi, my name's Veronica Baragas, with My Wiggles and Giggles.com, and I'd like to share with you a little bit about live-in nanny jobs. I'd have to say that these....a live-in nanny job is a lot of work, depending on, you know, what type of family it is that you do a live-in position with. There's so many things that you have to consider. You know, not only are you going to be taking care of the kids, but you're going to be...you're going to become part of somebody else's family. And, it's going to take some time for people to adjust. I'm pretty out-going, and, you know, like a free spirited person, so, previous and live-in nanny jobs that I had always went pretty well. I always made sure in the beginning that not only did I get along with the kids, but, that I knew I could become friends with the parents that I was going to be living with. You know. It takes a great deal to do a live-in position. I think, nine times out of ten, a live-in position requires a lot of work out of you, and sometimes it's not always, like, straight ten hour days. It can be, you know, breaking up over, you know, three sections of the day. Maybe you do morning pick-up. Maybe you do, you know, morning drop-off. Or afternoon pick up or whatnot. But, a lot of the times you can become, like, more of a household manager where you can do laundry, ironing, picking up, you know, dishes, house keeping, or whatnot. So, depending on the live-in job, you can pretty much find a job that fits exactly what you're looking for, and, you know, every family's going to have a different list of expectations and duties. So, depending on, you know, what it is that you're looking for, live-in jobs can be very, very rewarding. I have so many families now that are like extended part of my families, and it's been great learning so many different cultures, and learning so many ways of life. It was just a great experience for me, overall. I really liked live-in positions, but it's not the same for everybody. So, you know, doing your research, making sure you get to know the family, and, you know, you stay on top of what you're doing. Live-in positions are a lot of fun."
