"Hi, my name's Veronica Baragas with mywigglesandgiggles.com and I'd like to share with you how to start a Nanny service. First off I would say is get yourself a business plan. Definitely make sure that you know enough about the industry, both families and nannies, to get in to a Nanny service. This can take a lot work and research. A lot of the time you have to figure out where it is that you're going to make your money because, are you going to charge your families like a membership to have access of your nannies? Do you have a large clientele of families? Where are you going to get these clienteles from? Are you going to start an Internet base? Are you going to you know, have Internet access? Are you going to be doing the ground work? What is it that is going to entail in this Nanny service? What other services maybe are you going to offer? Is is just going to be nannies or are you going to add baby sitters? You know, so really start out with that business plan and get a really good idea of whether this is something that you can do. A lot of the times they're not very, it takes a long time for them to get off the ground because you have to build that nanny clientele. And you know, if you have a good group of nannies and you know, they already have jobs you have to make sure that you have an ongoing source of nannies and not only nannies but families as well. So it can be difficult matching. You gotta make sure that you can you know, you have all the proper documents and requirements as far as legals go. So look in to, look in to all the specifics first before you decide to jump in. I know that when I was looking in to it, there was a lot more work than I anticipated as far as you know, getting off the ground. So it's going to take some time as far as like you know, bringing income in. So if you have some you know, save a large amount of cash I would recommend when starting out because it's going to take some time to build your family clientele. So make sure that you decide where you're going to get your money from. Work on that business plan and just kind of talk around and see what other Nanny services are doing in your area and how many, you know, if there's a high demand for nannies. And just make sure that you really really do that business plan."
