"Quilting has made a resurgence in the last few years. I know I took a quilting class once upon a time. And put together my own quilt for my son. And if you're interested in quilting and want to put together a book on quilting, one of the things that you'll want to do is make sure that you have a variety of patterns included in your quilt book. What you need to do is use those as graphics, make sure that you use a larger format so that people can actually cut the patterns out of the book or draw around them to use them as actual patterns for their quilts. These will be included on the pages so that people can use them and create these beautiful quilts. Also make sure that your instructions are very well-written out and very step by step. But basically to publish a quilting book is no different than publishing any other book. You just might have to use a larger format, make sure you have plenty of graphics, find as many different types of quilts patterns as you can, and put them together in a book. You'll be glad you did, and it'll save a little piece of history as well."
