"Wireless networks can be very convenient, but they can also be a hassle if you have a lot of people coming in and out of your house. My name is Mike, and today, we're going to talk about how to take off your network key so everyone has access to your computer. I can't really stress it enough how bad of an idea this is, but if you live in an area where there's not a lot of people around you and you have friends that come over for LAN parties or what have you and you don't want to give out a password that you might use for other things, it would be a good idea to take it off, at least momentarily, for that purpose. If you do take it off and there's anyone in the area that knows enough about computers, they could potentially steal files, maliciously attack you, and/or other things that wouldn't end well. The basic way to do it is to type in the IP address that is attached to your router, whether it be a Belkin or a Netgear. Usually, there's an IP address attached to that. You're going to go on any Web browser you have, whether it be Internet Explorer or Safari, and you just type it in. Usually, it's 192.168.1.1, which is going to bring up a prompt that asks you for a user name and password. It should start as admin, admin, but I recommend changing this so no one can change your settings because if you don't, even if you do have a wireless password on, they could log in and change that. So you're going to log in, go to WAPP and just disable it. Hit apply, save your settings, turn it off, turn it back on, and you should notice that there's no password and anyone can connect to your network. Now, to turn it back on, repeat the steps and you should be set to go. And that's how to take off the network key, which I hope is just momentarily."
