"Hi! My name is Jill Vice. And I'm going to give you a couple tips on how to eat right as a youth soccer athlete. You know, you kind of want to, just like in tournament play and game days. The more calories the better. You know, unsaturated fats, things like that. Stay hydrated. Hydration is the most important, the most important thing for an athlete. You know, drinking plenty of water, throughout the day. You know, pay attention to young athletes and their calcium and iron levels. There's a big risk on iron and calcium deficiency with young athletes. Yogurt, milk, you know. Keeping those strong bones, things like that. Easy digestive food. You know, things like that. You know, you just want to make sure that they're eating plenty of foods, throughout the day. As an athlete, as a young kid. Just encourage them to take things with them. Again, hydration. Most important thing. Because that can, that can either excel an athlete. Or it can hinder an athlete. So those are just some tips on, how to eat right. As a young soccer player."
