"Next thing we're going to talk about is how to put together a hermit crab cage. And in order to do that, of course the general rule of thumb for hermit crabs is one crab per gallon of cage. So if you have a ten gallon aquarium, you can put ten hermit crabs in there. Today we're going to be using this little, they call them critter keepers. They're kind of like a Tupperware kind of thing. I like to use these for hermit crabs. They're small, they hold humidity very well, and they're not very expensive. So what you want to do is you're going to take that and you're going to fill it with a pretty decent amount of bedding as you see here. We've got coco bedding in there. And then you're going to take a water bowl and you're going to add a water bowl to it. Okay, and then you're going to take some sort of, something to add to the enclosure, something for them to climb on. I like to use cork bark. It looks nice and it's virtually indestructible as far as bacteria and things go. So add a little bit of that to it. I like to make little like cave things that go over the water. I just think it's kind of neat. And then of course, the last thing you're going to need is a food bowl. Just put that anywhere you can. Make sure it's easily accessible for the hermit crabs as well as the water bowl should be relatively easily accessible and easy to get out of as well. And bingo bango, you've got yourself a hermit crab cage."
